Moving Mayhem

I have used U Haul several times (go figure) and I have had two vans struggle to inch up the level street, not to mention the lound grinding to get uphill and back up my small uphill driveway. I also got billed a lot higher than what I had been "quoted", whcih for a single mom without help, is a serious problem. I am facing a move now, wondering who to try...who to trust...who will get my money?!?!?!

They marked my tank as being full, but as I pulled off the lot the gas meter jumped down to almost empty. I circled the parking lot and told them about the gas discrepency, but they said since I pulled it off the lot, they would not correct the problem, costing me over $100 in gas right off the bat. They did not care at all. Terrible service and a malfunctioning truck...I will never rent from U-Haul again.
